GIGABYTE, with help of Intel and Corsair, has recently spent time in New Zealand showcasing some of the latest technology and developments in PC DIY market.

We were fortunate enough to meet NZICT Group and participate in the Rutherford Innovation Showcase to update some of leading innovators on latest product developments from GIGABYTE, Intel and Corsair.

We met a very clever school girl, Lucia Kennedy, from Christchurch who told us about her www.takeachance.co.nz project which has seen Margaret Court, famous Australian tennis player, also contribute to the project.

Lucy said that the project is designed to empower and enable kids to get free mentoring with a specialist in their dream area to help them make their big dreams happen.

For more information please visit the Take a Chance website.

Computer Lounge from Auckland, a leading gaming PC shop in NZ, along with GIGABYTE, Intel and Corsair were inspired by Lucia’s project and put together an extremely powerful gaming PC worth close to $4000 which will be donated to this fantastic charity to help the kids of Christchurch rebuild their lives after terrible 2011 earth quakes and give them the ability to chase and realise their dreams.
