No, that is not a “little person” holding a motherboard (he’s not related to Ricky Gervais either), but rather the Deputy Director of motherboard marketing here at GIGABYTE, Tim Handley.
There's no word on the official specs yet either, although we've heard rumblings about on-board SSDs striped together in RAID 0 configuration, as well as an army of solid state capacitors. Heck, given the size of the box, maybe it will even feature flux capacitors.
Please visit Bit-tech HERE to find out more about this mysterious board.
Ever wondered why the H55N-USB3 has a VGA card slot (seeing as it’s supposed to be a low profile HTPC board)? We included a VGA card slot to provide our customers with options, and CyberPower has optioned to use the little board that can in their LAN Party Mini EVO gaming system.
“In the end, the CyberPower LAN Party Mini EVO is a sweet, compact little rig. It’s also pretty palatable at $1,250—a nice discount over our WAKM, which tilted the scale to $1,653. So, it’s cheaper, just about even in performance, and it’s even water-cooled. In our book, that’s a win.”

The motherboard of choice in the THG Bugatti-like Bentley PC is none other than the GA-X58A-UD3R, GIGABYTE’s top selling X58 chipset motherboard model.
“We wanted a motherboard with at least 32 PCIe 2.0 lanes, high overclocking stability, and enough features to justify existence in a PC that cost nearly $2000. The two best-priced models to fill those criteria were Asus’ Sabertooth and Gigabyte’s X58A-UD3R.
The X58A-UD3R’s advantages are few, such as its support for x8 mode on the third slot by lane-sharing, and its support for two more hard drives. But those extra features combine with our extra experience with this model to make it the easiest choice.”

Steven B. is going about his reviews/previews a little differently and almost dissecting the board in the quest to uncover and explain every significant part of board design. Check out this extremely detailed preview of P67A-UD7 board.
I love the attention to detail and a really interesting ghetto stock heatsink testing setup. He also writes a fair bit about analogue vs digital PWM as well as a whole host of other R&D inspired changes that the new board generation brings.
This is a very enjoyable read for hardware enthusiasts. Check it out, it won’t disappoint! Make sure you put aside a good 15 minutes as there is a lot of interesting info to read about! Read more about it over at i4mem > http://i4memory.com/f90/p67a-ud7-most-depth-preview-review-27173/.
No stranger to Mini-ITX case modding, Jeffery Stephenson’s latest creation incorporates the award winning GIGABYTE H55N-USB3 motherboard with two USB 3.0 ports in the rear I/O panel. Remarkably he has also incorporated two USB 3.0 hubs, so this system is a SuperSpeed USB beast that is way ahead of it’s time if you consider the USB 3.0 port count!

Tom’s Hardware has published their annual Holiday Gift Guide. Aside from the usual bevy of beauties, there are some great tech featured including the GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 motherboard.
We specifically chose the 890FXA-UD5 because its relative value, reasonable price tag, and modern features. It's nice to get the SATA 6Gb/s support for future upgrades to SSDs able to move more than 300 MB/s, plus USB 3.0 is a welcome addition after waiting for our 64 GB flash drives to transfer disk images over USB 2.0. Gigabyte's On/Off support for charging iPads/iPhones/iPods, even when the PC is turned off, is a super-convenient addition, too.

Our friends over at Legit Reviews have recently taken the GA-X58-USB3 motherboard out for a spin, and while this is a budget board clearly positioned for mainstream users on the X58 platform (1366 socket), Dan commends the board for it’s performance and overclocking, awarding it the Legit Reviews Value Award.
While it may be considered a budget motherboard by many. Let's just be sure not to let the GIGABYTE GA-X58-USB3 in on that little secret, because it sure doesn't act like one.
Whether it performs like it or not, the GIGABYTE GA-X58-USB3 is a low cost board aimed at the budget conscience consumer. Let's face it, that is a fact that the majority of us users out there today are faced with. Everybody is looking to get the best bang for their buck. For those looking at the Intel X58 spectrum of components, motherboards with the Intel X58 chipset aren't exactly the lowest cost component out there. Many believe that you get what you pay for, that's not always the case though. The GIGABYTE GA-X58-USB3 gives you more than what you pay for! For the measly $179.99 with free shipping you are getting a great performing board that is backed up by a three year warranty.

It’s the holidays once again, and what better way to show the geek in your life you care than by giving them a shiny new motherboard. But with so many options out there, how to decide? Tweak Town has made it easy with their annual buyers guide. This year, they recommend two GIGABYTE boards, the X58A-UD9 and H55N-USB3.
At the very top end we have two boards that really stood out this year. For the top end slot when money is no object and you want the highest benchmarking numbers you can get, the GIGBYTE X58A-UD9 is the board you are looking for. It can do just about anything (It even has a floppy port just in case you might need one). However, the thing that gives the UD9 the top billing is its support for four way SLI and Crossfire at full x16. You just can’t beat that.
The last item on our list of recommended boards is the GIGABYTE H55N-USB3 Mini-ITX motherboard. We were very impressed with its performance and the amazingly small size of the board. You can choose to run this as an entry level system with a Core i5 661 or go nuts and drop in a Core i7 875K if you choose to. The only thing that limits you here is the small area for a good CPU cooler. After you sort that, there is not a whole lot this board won’t do for you.

Hong Kong based overclocker, mad222, just jumped ahead of his competitors from Brazil and Korea with a stunning new AMD frequency world record. Wow and all that with a AMD Phenom II X4 965 C3. Nice to see the new 890FXA-UD7 is up to the task too .
Congrats Mad222. Killer overclock.
GIGABYTE’s world record radar just picked up a fantastic AMD 1M SuperPi world record on HWBOT.org by MaJ0r from Ukraine.
MaJ0r used a GIGABYTE 790FXTA-UD5 with a Phenom II X2 555 BE and reached a frequency of 6942Mhz for this benchmark with a time of 9.875s. Looks like there is room left in the tank for some more tweaking as well.
Congratulations mate, what a great OC this is!
He also showed off a CPUz with 7122.4Mhz. Smokin’ fast!
