For those keeping score, GIGABYTE Touch BIOS will be made available on the GIGABYTE website early next week for the media who have received early samples with full release to come soon after that. In the meantime, I thought I’d throw up a quick intro video for those who want to see a little more of GIGABYTE’s Touch BIOS in action before it launches.
Will it support P67 boards?
ReplyDeleteTouchBIOS now available for download site http://gigabyte.com/MicroSite/278/touch-bios.html
ReplyDeleteTouch BIOS is only planned to support next generation 6 series MBs. The link from dupcenger will take you to a landing page with a list of compatible MBs.
ReplyDeleteI cloned my system drive recently and was disappointed by the absence of "hard disk boot priority" feature in touchbios (should be under the section "Boot Disk"). To test-boot the clone, I had to reboot into bios and modify hard disk sequence the old fashioned way. Would it be that gigabyte will include hard disk boot priority in an update of touchbios. Overall, I enjoyed the novelty of the new interface, though. Thanks!
