Gigabyte's Cloud OC App Uses Netbooks to Tweak Performance

image

At Computex we gave a sneak preview of Cloud OC; a ground breaking software application that allows you to keep an eye on your system settings (fan speeds, CPU & memory temps, voltages, etc…) while running any of the 3DMark benchmarks that automatically run in full screen mode. It also allows you to tweak your system settings while you run the benchmark and even restart, shut down, suspend or hibernate your system after benching. I think the key advantage with this app is actually that you can fiddle with the settings without activating your keyboard or mouse. Theoretically, any keyboard or mouse activation requires a little interference with the OS, and any interference during a benchmark is not preferable.

Enough about that, here’s a short video from Nicole (She Geek) at netbooknews.com, that explains how Cloud OC works and what it does. Stay tuned for more about Cloud OC because the launch is going to be very soon!
