Working for a Taiwanese tech company, I am constantly reminded of the importance of branding. In Asia, copying a sucessful brand is an excepted practice, with none of the same legal rammifications as in the West. In fact, you know you are a market leader when your competitors start copying your branding efforts.
Too true! A certain Gigabyte 333 Onboard Acceleration vs. a much later 'not so true' 333 technology from a tier 2 mobo maker comes to mind... Have they no shame?
